Several types of energy can be managed under one contract account number. It is used for payment transactions. Please always state this number as the purpose of transfer when making transfers. We also need the contract account number from you in case of queries and for identification purposes.
Here you will find the name and address of the contractual partner. You will also need this information for your tax return.
This is the address where energy or water is consumed. The delivery address may differ from the billing address.
We have determined and billed your consumption for this period.
Each bill has its own invoice number. This enables direct assignment.
Here we list the gas consumption for the above-mentioned period. This is based on the meter readings that you sent us or that were available to us at the time of billing.
In this field you can see whether you have received any credit from us or whether a supplementary payment has been made. You will also see information about how the credit or supplementary payment was processed.
Here you can see your new discount valid until the next bill is issued. This is calculated based on the consumption billed here.

This is the name of your billed tariff.
Net amount for the supply type natural gas.
The gross prices for natural gas deliveries include the reduced sales tax rate of 7% from October 1, 2022 to March 31, 2024. From April 1, 2024, the regular sales tax rate of 19% will apply.
Sum of all net amounts plus VAT.
Total of your advance payments up to the billing date. Here you will also find other additional costs or overpayments / payments on account.
Your new discount for future payment dates. We calculate the discount based on your personal gas consumption and the current prices.
Here you will find your new discount dates and our bank details for your transfer. If you have given us a SEPA mandate, we will debit the discounts from your account on these dates.

This is the net price for one kilowatt hour (kWh) of gas in the previously specified period. Your current natural gas price is made up of the working price for one kilowatt hour (kWh) and the annual basic price. The amount in brackets shows the price without sales tax.
Each contract (electricity, natural gas, water and district heating) has a unique number.
This is the number of your gas meter. You can also find this number on your meter. For more information, see Reading the gas meter.
Here you will find the final meter reading of your last bill. If you have not yet received a bill for this meter, this is your registration meter reading.
Here you will find the meter reading we used to create your current bill.
Difference between old and new meter readings. The difference is then converted from m3 to kWh.
Temperature, altitude and air pressure determine the gas volume in your meter. These values vary from region to region. The conversion factor is used to compensate for the differences and convert them to a so-called nominal reading (temperature: 0 degrees Celsius, air pressure: 1,013.25 mbar).
The gas meter measures your consumption by volume. The gas volume in your meter is influenced by temperature, altitude and air pressure. These values vary from region to region. The conversion factor is used to compensate for the differences and convert them to a comparable value, the so-called nominal reading. The following parameters are used:
Standard temperature: 0 degrees Celsius – 273.15 Kelvin
Billing temperature: 15 degrees Celsius – 288.15 Kelvin
Standard pressure: 1,013.25 mbar
Effective pressure 25 mbar (can be seen on your pressure regulator)
Air pressure (depending on the altitude of your consumption point – determined by your local network operator)
The calorific value describes the energy content contained in one cubic metre of gas under standard conditions. The natural gas calorific value is given in kilowatt hours per cubic metre (kWh/m3). The calorific value is determined by your local network operator.
Your gas consumption in kilowatt hours (kWh) is calculated as follows:
Gas consumption in kWh = Gas consumption in m3× conversion factor × calorific value in kWh/m3
In the first period we calculate your total consumption and in the subsequent time periods you will see the applicable price next to the specified time periods.
Number of days billed.
This is the total amount of natural gas in kilowatt hours (kWh) that you consumed during the billing period.
This is the net price for one kilowatt hour (kWh) of gas in the previously specified period.
The price includes the costs for procurement and provision of energy and network access. The basic price refers to one year (365 days). For more information, see Gas price.
The individual net amounts are the result of your consumption and the gas price per kilowatt hour applicable during this period (amount = quantity × price).
This is the sum of the individual amounts without VAT. This includes the costs for your gas consumption and the base price.
In Germany, a sales tax of 19% applies to natural gas. It is added to the net amount. In the period from October 1, 2022 to March 31, 2024, a reduced sales tax rate of 7% applied.
This is the total amount including the statutory sales tax of 19%.
This is the total amount you paid for natural gas during the billing period.
